A few nitrous questions

Just got my nitrous kit from a local guy. Its a NX Proton Plus Wet Kit. It came with the bottle, solenoid, purge, all the lines, nozzle, and the jets. I'm picking up a dynotune regulated bottle heater, blow down tube, and WOT Mircroswitch but I have a few questions regarding a RPM Window Switch. I know I need one but I'm curious on what brands everyone is going with and which works good.

Jegs has this one but would I need a tach adapter to run it?
JEGS Performance Products 40824 JEGS RPM Activated Switches

I also thought about this one. Same question, would I need a tach adapter to run it?
MSD Ignition 8956 MSD RPM Activated Switches

Which ones require a tach adapter and which ones don't.

My next question is about going a step colder plugs. Which plugs does everyone recommend. I am going to spraying a 100 wet shot.

And my final question is about the tune. I know everyone says stock tune is fine for a 100 shot. I just got a SCT Tuner with free BAMA tunes for life. They say they can tune for a 100 shot. Should I go ahead and request the tune since it is free?

Sorry about all these questions just trying to cover everything before i go shopping.

No idea on the RPM window switches, but go with a step colder plugs. I see a lot of people run NGK TR-6s, and I do too.
If you have free tunes get it, but you can get by with just pulling a couple degrees of timing on one of the bama tunes. I pulled 3 on the performance one, but I just got the nitrous tune from them the other day. I havent tried it out yet though.

Cool thanks. Ive seen a lot of people recommending those plugs as well. And I probably will just go ahead and get the free tune. Anyone else know about the rpm switch?

I have the Dynotune dual stage window switch. It does not require a tach adapter. Has 1st gear lockout in it to if you choose to set it up that way. Run it about 3-6K. If you want the best window switch get a harris speed works one, there expensive though. TR-6 plugs gapped at .035 and might want to get a fuel pressure safety switch. Either get a tune written or swap to the stock tune and always run premium gas. Good luck!
