I went with flowtechs... I don't think it really matters very much to be honest. The flowtechs are tucked up nicely and allow the trans to come out easily.

Mac sounds better but I have BBK Long Tubes, BBK Shorty Off Road X Pipe, and Flowmasters. From just putting those on I gained 12rwhp and 12rwtq. I can't remember how much I gained after it was tuned from them.

I would run flowtech, but imo i would save long tubes for my last mod i would do to a car.
$- hp gain isn't really worth it.

I went flowtech. Macs were going to be bought but too tight. Flowtech let's you drop trans without hitting headers. Bbk leaks alot

I've got 76,000 miles on BBK LTs and catted x-pipe and I've not had a single leak. I picked BBK because at the time they were the only ones making a catted x-pipe. I think you are more likely to get leaks when you mix and match parts from different manufacturers. The only bad thing I see about BBK is that you have to loosen the passenger's side to get the transmission out. Even after everything was taken apart and put back together for the new clutch the system didn't leak.

The headers do help! They help under the curve more than the peak HP numbers. I did mine because I had a leak.... they sound awesome as well. I would certainly do it again

Can't see why hooker would be different than flowtech besides paying for the name. They are both made by Holley. At least thus my thoughts.
