Rev.. What is Occam's razor?

Anyone know where in the harness the right bank COP's wires meet up?

Edit: I just looked up Occam's razor. I like it!

You don't know what Occam's Razor is! I bet your face is really really simply put (hairy) haha

Just google it, and you will see, its trying to take things in a systematic process that assumes everything is simple unless proven otherwise.

To answer one of the questions asked.............someone wanted to know if there was a code. I didn't bother with code reading because there should be multiple codes due to the terrible running condition. I performed a cylinder contribution test and found the entire right bank with multiple misfire values ranging from -45 to -65. Digging deeper would have been the thing to do but i was tied up on a drivetrain swap all day. I agree simple first, i can tell you that the cam is turning on the right bank but I havent gone any deeper. Hopefully in the next day or two we can check spark and do a compression check on that bank. Between the two we should have a much better indication of the problem.

I went through the exact same thing last year, passengerside bank completly dead, spent 3 days chasing an electrical bug, turns out that cam was 180 out, don't know how it happened, it was degreed on the correct icl and everything, when the engine turns over, does it kinda sound like the starter is struggling to spin the motor over. If so, it is the cam timing

What codes were you getting specifically? P0351/P0352/P0353/P0354 Would be the codes you would get if your computer simply wasn't receiving a signal from your COP's. If you are getting a misfire I believe those are P030X codes.

Read post #22 where I've already addressed that question.
