DEFINITELY get the pilot bearing, clutch fork and pivot stud. i didn't and was back in a year later. It's only $45 for the fork and $18 for the pivot stud from the dealer.

Yeah, i just got the same setup. definetly get the pilot bearing also. Go rent a pilot bearing removal tool from auto zone or something. Also, you will need the 4th qt of fluid.

I've seen different posts from people saying they got info directly from Tremec calling for different amounts of fluid. So is there anything else I need? I reuse the stock dowel pins right?

it's definitely 3.3 for T45, not positive on the 3650.

I've seen posts from people claiming they got info from Tremec stating syncromesh will actually mess up the syncros after time. Ill stick with the Mobil 1 that i already bought

The tool you use to get the pilot bearing out is a slide hammer. Be sure to change the fork, they are actually supposed to be changed at the same time as a clutch.

There is actually a pilot bearing tool, not just a slide hammer...... that being said ive had to use the proper tool, slide hammer, air chisel, torch, cut off wheel etc. Some slide out and some are stubborn as a mofo.

Understandable. I have always used a slidehammer with great success.

I ordered the FRPP pivot stud, fork, and pilot bearing today. Im going to rent the slide hammer and bearing puller. My car only has 67k so hopefully it wont be jammed up in there too bad.

It's technically 3.3 quarts, and unless you have a pump and the car on a lift, I would suggest removing the gear shifter and pouring the fluid in from the top. It's A LOT less work IMO.
