well i have the 03-04 cobra wheels on the GT now, got my sfk rear diff rebuild kit, stopped on my way home from work at Gearhead Performance and bought my ford racing 3:73's and a B&M Ripper short throw shifter with a black hurst ball handle for it, its the only one they had for the metric threads on the shifter, and my stock knob is nasty so the ball will be a much better improvement! dropping the car off this week to get the rear done, i will probably put the shifter in tomorrow after work, when the rear end is getting done im having my buddy go ahead and put on some 40 series flowmasters and new tailpipes and tips too, eventually i am going to go all mac from headers to tailpipes but this will get me by for now. i also have to replace the rear control arms after he is finished with the axle, and i need tires, man i could go on forever! but i just got the car and already am doing alot in a short time. my wife is getting upset at my spending, so i need to slow down a little and use my paychecks more than our tax refund!! i dont need the wifey upset!

You're screwed if the wife is already getting upset about just that. My recommendation is sell the car if you like your wife, because otherwise it's going to get ugly LOL. I don't know how my wife hasn't killed me yet with all I've spent on my project.

No not at all it's not only what I got for the car, I paid my dad back an 1800 dollar loan in one shot even though he said whenever, I bout two new I phones for me and her, a new laptop, new microwave I bought my kids this killer bunkbed, a few games for the ps3, a dump truck full of mulch, a robot pool cleaner, lol I'm just a spending madman. We have been together for almost 16 years and I am only 35 so it takes alot to upset her she is an awesome girl to me she just wants me to slow down!

I hear ya bro. My wife is unbelievably cool with all of my mods. I didn't ever think she would be this understanding. I bought the car for $7500 and in the past 9 months I've spent $11,500 on mods. Shit got out of control LOL

lol a good wife is hard to find. i have known mine her entire life and dont know why she ever wanted anything to do with me. i have been friends with her dad for a long long time and i never wanted to screw that up but she wouldnt leave me alone so i finally broke down and dated her. it was the smartest thing i have ever done in my life. we have been together almost 16 years and have to awesome kids and my wife knows how i love my cars so she supports me, to a degree!! she knows when i get a new toy and i get money right after the new toy i can dig a hole real quick, so its good to have her keep me in line but still let me spend and do my cars up the way i want. i just feel like i have to hurry and mod the car right now, but i bought the car to have for a long time so i guess i dont need to rush, and i dont want to rush either i like making steady progress and so far i am! i have wanted a 99-04 mustang for a long time they are my absolute favorite body style mustang, my brother in law has a 10 second full street driven 05 gt that still is 100% complete down to working ac and leather interior and i know what he has done and i know how much money is invested but i still cant like his style more than mine, i just love the 99-04!
