Need a piston stop

I have a degree wheel and dial indicator, but I need a piston stop. Does anyone have a link to where I can get one and have it at my door by Friday? Many thanks for the help.

Summit has a number of them, I think we take a 14mm but you should try to verify that.

Don't get the run of the mill screw type ones. The shoulder bottoms out before they thread in.

I think this is the one I used:
Crane Cams 99412-1 - Crane Piston Stop Tools - Overview - SummitRacing.com
It was on my doorstep in 2 days, granted I'm closer to them.

Ha! No you're not. Summit is just about 2-3 hours down I-16 from me here in Georgia. Thanks Wicked. So the plugs are a 14mm thread?

Yessir, M14x1.25 if I'm not mistaken.

And I'm just used to getting their parts from the Ohio facility.

I can't seem to find the exact one that I used, but it was a Crane and didn't have the shoulder on it. I had gotten the general degreeing kit and that stock stop didn't work.

And keep in mind that the stop can come in handy for things like tightening your balancer bolt!

I just bought it. Usually when I order stuff from Summit I will get it within a day or two from just regular ground shipping.

As far as using it to tighten my balancer bolt, I don't know about that. I don't think I'd be comfortable putting that kind of pressure on the piston in such a small spot, as well as the bearings without oil pressure. When I tightened my balancer bolt I just put the car in gear and pulled the e-brake.

Still less pressure than BMEP (brake mean effective pressure) at rated power.

And not all of us have the luxury of doing things like installing with the engine already in the car and hooked up. Or power, heat, or light.
