Question

Drop the Stang?

So I currently am driving a 2000 Mustang Gt with a few bolt-ons and Im wanting to lower it since all my buddies keep giving me sh*t about me driving a "monster truck." I was just curious what I would all need to get my car lowered properly and what the best springs would be to give it a mean stance without being too low and having clearance issues around town. My car has 70k miles on it also.

I had just eibach sportlines on mine adn it dropped it like 1.5-2 inches, perfect stance imo. you dont necessarily need c/c plates until you go more than a 2" drop. and when i put my springs on i didn't realign it or anything and no issues with pulling/uneven tire wear. your stock struts/shocks should also be fine.

Some Tokico Struts and H&R lowering springs are good.

Lowering springs and if you want over a 1.5 drop some cc plates would be nice

Yea you dont need the cc plates, i was just saying if you had the extra money, but youll be fine without them with a 1.5 inch drop and +1 for eibach sportlines

i also forgot to add that i do have 315's in the rear and 275's up front, tht should still clear fine right? and r u sure about the CC plates? i get different opinions from alot of people and i dont want un-even tire wear since tires r pretty exspensive

ok thats awsome, do you have any other suggestions on what type of springs instead of the sportlines? i'm reading some comments about them and some people are saying it lowers the front a little bit to much im almost looking for a 1.75 front 2 rear or like 1.75 front 1.5/1.25 rear

I'll be getting eibach sport lines after I install header back exhaust and gears. Hopefully I'll be dropped in three weeks!

I have H&R with no CC plates and it aligned perfectly. And the drop was just right and the ride quality didn't change much.

I got H+R SS with CC plates. I have expensive tires too and didn't want to mess them up with a bad alignment. I have no bumpsteer issues or anything like that
