Probably a stupid question

When everyone says the stock bottom end on new edge gt's can handle 400 to 450 hp is that to the wheels or crank?? And what would be a safe number as a daily driver?

imo the safety falls in the tune. some have had high hp setups last along time and others have trashed a motor at lower hp levels. in alot of ways it is hit or miss. be smart about your build and dont cut corners to save money cause it could add up in the long run. fuel system and maf is extreamy important when it comes to being safe.

400-450 is for safe RWHP. safe has A LOT to do with the tune, but most say between 380-410 on a street car

(this is through a 5 speed, its alittle lower ~15-30HP less through an auto) Im sure many more will chime in and this is just from reading so people with experience will have a better answer but I feel this covers the basic answer to your question.

Ok I'm planning on runnin a d1sc with 3 core intercooler 255lph fuel pump and sctba 2900 I think it's called I'm getting my tune done by evolution performance in aston who specialize in mustangs

your prolly gonna need a boost a pump with that fuel pump and your setup. dont forget bigger fuel injectors to. someone correct me if im wrong about the boost a pump =]
