I'm not positive but I think any 4R7XX trans will fit any modular engine. What's wrong with your 4R70W?

Not gonna work. The E uses a different set of electronics and would be more than a PITA to install and make work . the speed sensors in the 04+ for the OSS have a different amount of teeth. E versions also have a TSS (turbine Speed sensor) which is for detecting Torque converter slip etc.. I don't particularly suggest trying it. Its not a direct swap and you will have to spend more money to make it work on a tuner or a tune. Rep

I'm sorry you really wanted to switch your trans just to say it's from a certain car? That seems like excessive work for something that doesn't need to be replaced? Beisdes any "company" owned vic is gonna be beat on anyway.

I've had some slippage issues when going into 1st gear. Hopefully those will be sorted with a new TC and shift-kit. But as I got a kick-ass price I thought..what the hell.

And that car wasn't too "beat on". They had to demolish it because of damages to the car and hence wouldn't ship it back state side. It didn't have too many miles on it...and Sweden isn't exactly a war zone
Also, If I'm not mistaken embassy cars have reinforced transmissions....but that may be hearsay....

Still, it won't work...

No prob bro. Your transmission is one of the best of the 4r series. It has most of the Jmod employed already and has Mechanical Diode and the OSS . If anything good fluid maintenance and a full jmod would be all it needs. And a better Torque converter of course .

I'm too mechanically retarded to do the J-mod so I've bought the Transgo kit
