Spring rate for coil overs
What spring rate do I need to go with when buying coil overs for my Vert? looking for handling more then anything, but would like something that works well both ways..any help on this would be great.

I just bought the UPR K member kit with 200lb springs. Everyone I've talked to says the 175's are a bit soft. The 200's should be a good comprimise for me between street and drag. If you're looking for handling, you might even go more than 200.

Oh, and 175's, from what I understand, will be way too soft for handling purposes. That is more of an optimal drag rate. If you were looking to autoX, or that style driving, I would say no lighter than 200. My guess would be 225 to 250.

One thing that I just recently learned is that Fox struts are about 1.5" shorter than new edge struts, and that's about the only difference. Apparently, if you're lowered with new edge struts you lose some tuneability and are more prone to bottoming out. Needless to say, I bought Fox struts, Strange adjustable Fox struts to be exact.

It means you're a war hero. Thank you for your service.
I have no idea what it means but I like to take the chance to thank you again anyway.

shit Im really thinking about the whole kit, BUT since Im not tracking it much I thinkn the K part might be a waste of money, Plus The Vert is going into Kurgan motorpsorts when i get home for a Built 4R70W and some new Cams. Will I need CC plates with that kit?

Yes, you will need CC plates regardless of if you get the kit or not if you go with coil overs. Don't think of the K as a track-only benefit. Think of the weight you'll be shaving off.
