Just do what you like. I however, disagree and would rather spend all that money on something other then a body kit and paint. It's a GT so just keep it a GT and make it look better with little things like the chin spoiler and lowering springs. to each there own

^I agree with angrystang. It's your car man. Do what you like. If someone else doesn't like it it doesnt matter. I would NOT do a body kit! I don't like the look. Some people love it.

Imho, I think that adding a chin spoiler looks better than any body kit out there for the GT. It looks great and cost way less $$$ than a body kit. If it were me I would add one of these first with a nice cat back of your choice. Then decide where you want to go from there.

please god dont get a body kit.. like bob said, i would get some springs installed, intakes are cheap, have some mufflers welded in, at least until the mod bug hits you and you figure out the direction you wanna head.

i failed to mention, Tint or not to Tint, that is the question.. I have 3% tint on mine and i absolutely love it. Just hike the windows down in close calls,.. works wonders for me

Don't get a body kit. Front fascia would be ok. I'm think of tossing my stalker and going for a roush in the future but right now my funds are going towards the turbo build. Full exhaust, wheels, tires, tint, and some basic cosmetic stuff should get you going.
