Personally, if I had a do over, I would of called around and checked the local performance shops that dyno tune. That way I knew what they proffered to tune with before I got all crazy with my car. But, like a newb, I bought a diablo to personally tune car, then I had to buy sct xcal cause of shop I was using. Then I went to the sct chip so I can choose which tune I want.

So think more long term. Buy what tuners need to dyno tune your car if you plan on getting halfway serious. Just my opinion. Cheers

ive owned both and had no issues with either one. I had a diablo 1st and the only reason i eventually got rid of it was when I was gonna get a dyno tune after the blower install the tuner uses SCT so I sold my Diablo and picked up an SCT. and btw i purchased both of them used(unlocked). If you eventually plan on getting mods that require a dyno tune then find out what the shops in your area uses Sct or Diablo try and decide from there. either one will ork just fine.

Use whatever kind your shop uses. Most of the decent shops around me go with SCT stuff and I really liked my Xcal 3, but I don't think the Diablo tuners are a bad bet either.

Basically, check with your shop/tuner (like a guy that tunes cars)

Thanks for all the replies!! i definitely gonna get serious with the mods. yeah there is a brand new dyno shop that i go by everyday to work. so i will check with them first. i thinking supercharger, probably next winter though since i dropped 7 grand to buy the car. i went for a ride in my buddies 07 stang all roush with roush supercharger. it made my car feel like a 6 cyl. so, for this season can i gain a few ponies with what i got and tuned. should i get on the dyno the way it is?
thanks again

You can gain a few ponies through the tunes that already come in the tuner you may be able to squeeze out a bit more with a dyno tune but with the mods you have listed personally I wouldnt go with a dyno tune(bc of cost) i would just use the tunes and adjustments that are already on the tuner
