what's needed to degree a cam?

long story short, I tossed and turned for nights and nights about cams, and i've been planning on the hp s292's but after getting my taxes back i've decided to get something a little more aggressive and will be getting some mhs stage 2 blower cams. obviously, i'll need to degree them now. I'm looking at a trickflow degree kit on summit, but what else do i need? will that piston stop work, and do i need a modified lash adjuster?

here's a link to the tf kit:

$150 and some shipping costs, if you want to go the easy way.
Or....

I dont like the idea of getting them degreed on a motor that isn't mine, just leaves room for error, plus, i want to do it myself. figure i'm building the motor myself, did the trans/rear myself. might as well do the cams too.

what the hell is the adjustable lifter? lol

Not a clue what an adjustable lifter is.....
Never installed cams in a mod motor, but I want to, and like you, I want to do all the work.

the lifter is really the only thing i dont know about. i was under the impression you wanted either a solid lifter, a welded one, or a hydraulic that's bled all the way out or something like that.

just ordered my cams last night!

I found a few places to get a solid lifter from, now just hoping that the piston stop in the tfs kit works.
