17 to 18. How much slower?
going from a 17 in rim to 18 in rim, is there even a noticable difference in how much slower the car is? mpg loss? if a lower profile tire is bought than what the 17 inch had does it even change? i dont want to slow my car down dramtically just cuz i want the looks of 18's. any input please, thanks

you wont lose any power from a change like that. not unless you went to a heavy steel wheel or like a set of dayton's or something. if you were to get the correct sizes there will be no change in tire size. examples: 245/45/17=245/40/18 275/40/17=275/35/18

unless your a drag car and each 1/10th of a second counts you won't notice anything.
