Replacing headers..
Anyone have any experience with doing it "yourself"? Garage job or shop job?

oh yes tons of people do them. depends on experience, patience and tools.
you get shorties or long tubes? long tubes are much more of a pain

we (myself and two friends that are mechanics) used a dealership lift and their tools and it still took 9 hours.... but it beat the hell outta spending several hundred for labor!

it can be done in the garage if you have a engine stand that will keep the engine held up once you remove the k-member, and also you will need probrably 2 jacks, and of course jack stands, impact wrench, if you lived near me i could probrably do it for ya.

I installed my longtubes and o/r x over a weekend at a buddy's garage. Put it up as high as you can on axle stands, drop the k and put them on. Took about 8-9 hours over a Saturday and Sunday afternoon but we bs'd and drank a few cold ones. Not extremely difficult but will try your patience. Much better than the $600 dollars I was quoted by a local speedshop.
