n2o and n/a tune help.

Can a flip switch SCT tune get stuck on the wrong tune? I was running at the track last night, and the first run on nitrous felt incredibly weak, so I closed the bottle, and put the switch back to the n/a tune. The next run felt horrible. My MPH was way off, and the e.t. reflected that. It doesn't feel like it's pulling the way it should on the n/a tune. Kina feels like the nitrous tune, but without the nitrous. Maybe the timing didn't reset when I threw the swtich? Can that happen?

your switch could have went bad, but really the nitrous tune shouldn't be that much different, a couple of degrees of timing only pulls maybe 10or 15 hp max

Yeah, I was thinking only a couple degrees of timming... Maybe I'm just being paranoid and over reacted. If I am right about it not running the same, what else could it be... Not a fuel filter or a mis fire cause it's got a smooth even pull through the rpm's. Like I said, it just feels like it lost power.

Oh yeah, I never heard any detonation during either run, so I don't think it's the computer pulling any more timing...

Did you get a check engine light? If so, pull your kick panel and make sure your chip is still pushed all the way into the housing. On second thought, you may not have gotten a check engine light depending on what mods you have. Mine came out a litte one time and tripped back into the factory settings- I thought my motor was F-ed up.

Nope, I got drun last night and woke up late this morning and left for Daytona... I need to get out there and look at it. But I'm really tired right now! I'm thinking it was just in my head when I made the N/A run after the nitrous stopped working like it should. Just gotta figure out if the bottle maybe has a slow leak and it ran out and I didn't know it. Even if there is just a little bit if nitrous left the pressure gauge can still read 900psi on a hot day right?

Yeah, it can read the correct PSI even on a bottle that is almost empty. That is why it is important to have a gauge you can see in the cockpit. If the pressure drops quickly into a run, your bottle is getting low. If the bottle is almost out, the psi will drop noticably after a short purge.
