no thats why i was saying i didnt know if they sound that way because of sound quality on cameras or if thats how they accually sound...ive never seen a video where they dont make that noise though. And thats always made me dislike magnaflow.

the raspy and poping sound is just form the x-pipe set up. an h pipe will cure most of it, and a prochamber will get rid of all of it. i will post a new video when i get the headers and prochamber on. it will have to wait till the baby is born and all my other parts get here.

+1
Most cameras, including my own, don't capture the low tones so you don't get a real feel for the sound of the packs. I have Magnapacks with a O/R Bassani X pipe and I love the sound. Mine used to do the snap crackle pop thing, but I updated the software on my diablo tuner off thier web site and now there is none. My friend has a '00 GT with a magnaflow tru-X and never had any detonation in his exhaust. You can get rid of it with cats or a H pipe/prochamber. No matter if you chose Borla stingers or the packs you will have seriously kick ass system.

Any exhaust can do it, and almost all exhaust will do it if you rev it up to 6000 RPMs sitting still. It's just unused fuel burning up in the exhaust. IMO it has more to do with the tune than the exhaust itself. Like I said, mine used to do it.

there is a difference between magnaflow and magnaflow magnapacks. Magnaflow makes different types of exhaust. Are you sure which one you heard?

Only thing is they don't honor that price guarantee with ebay vendors.
