Good Asking Price??

I was thinking about putting my Stang on the market but I dont know what a good asking price should be, it blubooks around 13k-14k stock. Also would it be better to sell it modded or put it back to stock and sell the parts seperate? Its a fully loaded 02 GT with less than 43,000 miles and has the following mods:

Procharger P1SC 10psi
3 Core Intercooler
42lb Injectors
300LPH Focus Fuel Pump
Diablosport Chip Custom Tuned
BBK 75mm Throttle Body
Trick Flow Intake Plenum
BBK Off-Road X-pipe
Flowmasters and 3 1/2in Tips
Steeda Tri-Ax Short Shifter
Roush Stage 3 Bumper
Ford Racing 3.73 Gears
Ford Racing Aluminum Driveshaft With Saftey Loop
Snow Performance Strut Brace
18x10in Rear Rims w/ 295's
AutoMeter Lunar Series Gauge Cluster
Autometer Lunar series Boost and Fuel Press. Gauges
Steeda Alum. Upper & Lower Control Arms
Steeda Competition Springs
Steeda Front Sway bar
Steeda Adjustable Rear Sway Bar
Tokico 5 Way adjustable Shocks
Steeda 3bolt Caster/Camber plates

im not positive but if i had to make a best guess i would say it might benefit you more by selling the procharger seperatly, but don't hold me to that.

I know technically the mods can lower the value of the car.

What I would do is take the money you have spent in mods, take 50-75% of that number and add it to the blue book price. Post it in the paper and see if anyone bites.

You can always lower the price but if you mark it to low and and it sells the next day you might regret not having posted it for more.

Just my .02

I've thought about putting mine on the market and keep thinking about it. I wouldn't sell mine for less then 23,000. So odds are it wouldn't sell and I'd wind up keeping it anyways.

Hey Matt I watched the market on these stangs daily here in CO and I really dont think that you could get 18 for it! What I say you do is forge your engine and run more boost! lol all the cobras that I have really seen around here are also going for around 26-28 K so drop another ten in yours and you could have a z06 eater!

i am with matt on this. keep yours and just upgrade the the blower. upgrade the blower to a D1 or if you really want more power the F1R. you have a setup now that upgrading the blower will do you just as good as buying a cobra. nice setup, by the way

Thanks for the complimants, I really like the car, but Im just about at the limits with the stock motor. Im just torn between building a motor or getting a Cobra that can already handle 600+ hp and has a 6speed already. But how hard would it be to get a 2V around 600 rwhp?

Man with a stout bottom end, you could use that FR1 or D1 to make 600 easily! In fact I say you get a stout bottom end, then do some nice VT heads some blower cams, and a P-51 intake! And then if you want more go ahead and get an upgrade on our blower! BTW I really want to see you car in person and ride in it!

the amount of money you will spend on getting another loan or whatever to buy the cobra, you can build yourself damn good ride. keep it! why sell what you have put some much money and time into already? build a shortblock, get some VT stage 2 heads/VT blower cams, upgrade the blower, get a good tune, and kick some ass. at the track of course.

Sounds like a good plan, but its gunna take alot longer. Im sure I wont ever get what I want for the car. But if your ever coming to the Springs area, let me know and you can take a look at it. Theres some pretty good size shows down here almost every Sat. late afternoon.

Well man it may take a little longer, but you will have a car that can spank a cobra! Get a block and start building it and then once its ready, swap it in and you will only be out of commision of a car for a few days! I would hate for you to sell your car that you have now with all the money and time in it and just get a cobra! You already have the power level of a cobra right now! Just mod yours somemore!
