the 3:55 set with install kit is, I had to pay $88 bucks for my install kit ontop of the gear price... the 3:73, that is what you would expect to pay for them.

I've never heard of Platinum Torque gears... I bought my FRPP gears for 100 bucks and a full installation kit for another 90. You can find them bundled on ebay for 200 any day... I would spend the extra money and buy a known good product... (I have NO gear whine)

x2 Never heard of this company. I use FRPP 4.10s, they are great and as said "no whine". Spend your $ on known parts.

it's DEFINITLY worth getting the FRPP gears.

I originally bought motive gears, which were cheaper than the FRPP's, and they whined pretty bad. But when I crashed my stang and the rear axle was ripped out and bent, I got a brand new axle with the Ford 3.73's in it, and NO WHINE!! it's better to pay for quality.

Am I the only one that noticed that under each picture it says "manufacturer defects?" No longer seems like such a good deal to me.

OK. I just saw those words off to the left by themselves. I didn't read the whole thing.
