sounds like a pretty good deal and it sounds as if it has been up kept great, I'd go for it. imagine if you could get him down to say 18,000 that would give you 2,000 more to do for mods since you said it was stock, but great find.

I hope he didnt go through his midlife crisis with it =)

I'd say that sounnds pretty legit, i'd take it for a few test drives see how the tranny is, get on it a bit see how it opens up, check for the head tick due to poor head cooling, check the body for any imperfections or asymmetry.

Tell him 19.5k and you got cash =)

I would go for it, but definatly test drive it, and also see if he's willing to lower the price at all. It's worth a shot.

the thing is my bro was suppose to buy my gt off me(2001 auto) for 8 grand and with that plus my savings and financing about 6 or 7 thousand i was going to get that cobra...but my brother seems to be backing out of it..hopefully i can still convince him...that cobra has a bassani exhaust and has been dyno tune...the old man just decided he wants a saleen so he's selling that one..i dont think he ever really pushed that car to its limit so its basically brand new..by the way do any of you know what a cobra puts down rwhp?
