Patriot cylinder heads

I finally got to put my hands on a set of Patriot heads this weekend. I am not impressed with what I saw. The combustion chambers are basically stock, and the exhaust side runners leave alot to be desired. The intake side of the heads was fairly clean, but I would not recommend Patriot heads to anyone after seeing the amount of thought and work that had gone into these heads.

They have a high stepping C&C porting machine and port a large volume of heads daily. They are about quantity and profits, not quality and customer satisfaction. The heads are a step up from stock but for the money you pay, they suck ass.

After seeing their work first hand, I would have to take that viewpoint as well.

Don't mean to steal the thread, but does anybody have any info on the VT heads or know a cite that does. I checked out a website that sold them, but it doesn' give any specs...just prices of course. I was thinking of going with Patroit Heads, but lately I've been hearing alot of bad things.

Thanks for the heads-up Acmillr. Not that I was gonna buy their heads anyway, but still.

Are you looking to replace your heads again? Didn't you do that when you put in the cams?

I'm thinking of snapping some fox lake heads on my new 302.
