good price??


ive called a few places after getting some high qoutes i found a performance shop that said they would put in my 4.10's clutch and underdrive pulleys for $650 is this a good deal? i got a few qoutes and the clutch at one shop was $400 by it self!!! also i got the motive 4.10's and i hear that they whine pretty bad?? is this a bad thing?? i can live with some whine but how loud is it??? is it going to be louder then my exhaust and can other people hear it?? and how will i know if they put them in right.. can they mess my motor up with under drive pulleys??? alright i think thats it.. sorry for all the questions..

i did the UDPs myself. all you need is access to a good power wrench.

i installed the UDP myself as well. wasnt that hard just make sure you have a harmonic balancer puller, and make sure you take the washer off after undoing the balancer bolt, i didnt, man that sucked.

so there is no way to mess up this install???

well there is if you're trying to find a way, but no, just remember how your belt goes back on, an air rachet is recommended, and thats about it.

Motives are known for a little whining noise but if installed properly it should not be too dramatic. Just be sure to break them in properly

Well the going rate for a gear install is 215-300....
idk about the clutch though

My parents paid 400 for the clutch around here! And I am getting 4.10s in for 250!
