Axle Girdle


Is this thing supposed to move up and down the bolts that hold it or not b/c myn does and i was just wondering if its not i want to fix it.

and what does it do exactly????

You upgrade an axle girdle/diff cover so it's a stronger than the stock ones because they're pretty weak from the factory and will break overtime from hard abuse on them (hard launches), they make ones that cool the oil quicker and have drain plugs, they shouldn't change the way it sits onto the rearend as far as I know, they should fit onto the axle just like the stock one did. As long as it sits flush onto the axle and seals it up so it doesn't leak I don't see a problem unless it's having clearance issues somewhere...

opps sorry what i'm talking about is right under the pinion where the drive shaft bolts up i dident know what else to calll it sorry again.
