Procharger P1SC vs. D1SC

Hello. After thinking about it for a few months I think I'll be saving for a SC instead of doing a ton of bolt ons, heads, cams and THEN doing SC.

I'm thinking of a Procharger Mongoose Kit from MPH. My question is what is the difference between the P1SC and the D1SC? Also what is the difference between the different "stages"? Do I NEED to go forged if I get the D1SC?

I am also wondering if its necessary to get anything before going FI? Like a CAI or any other bolt ons?

Thanks.

the differences are in the design of the head units. the p1sc will give better power efficintcy at lower boost, and the d1cs will give better power efficientcy at higher boost. it depends how much power and what you are trying to get out of the build to which head unit you will need. as for other bolt ons t/b, plenum, fuel pump, coils will be useful towards that mod.

If you want more then 500 hp get the d-1sc with the 3 core intercooler. At 8psi you will be fine. A friend I know has the p-1sc with the 2 core intercooler with just a cat-back and a tune put 334hp to the wheels at 8psi. Were you getting the kit at??? I found this place so fare it’s the cheapest

I got mine from MC Racing in Kansas. Best price I could find and awesome service. Plus no sales tax since they are outta state. I think their website is MCracing.com or you can just search for it if not. I got the P1SC with the 3core. Tuned to 421hp 435tq at the wheels at 10psi.
