Last and Final Speedometer/Cluster Question


so initally what happened was i got an overlay kit and had a shop install it on the stock cluster, i didnt like it so i had them take it off and the needle fell out for the speedometer

it was off by about 9 mph and i ended up buying a used cluster off ebay (white face to replace it). it would start with the new cluster so i swapped circuit boards on them.Its now off by 3 mph

here is where i stand now:

i just got pulled over yesterday and the cop asked me how fast i was going. i said 70 (what my speedo said). he said not eveeeeen close. he pulled me off going 86 mph. luckily, he let me off so now im gonna just get it fixed. i think im just going to bring it to a shop but i want to see what everyone thinks about it now.

im trying to figure out that when the needle fell out and was put back on that the settings in the computer/ecu were changed

put the gauges back in the car with the battery connected, then disconnect the battery for a few minutes, reconnect, and zero the needle out... should work. if not then

Just get the Autometer cluster... looks badass and will be set already. BUt its a lil spendy
