hey guys, I need tire size suggestions for my new wheels

I've got a 2004 mach 1 that I'm putting 18X9 wheels on. I don't like that skinny sidewall/low profile stuff though, i'm all about the beefy muscle car look. I've been recommended 255/45-18 or 265/40-18 or 275/35-18. I don't have much experience with this though so any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks alot guys.

well 275/35 i don't think will give you the size sidewall your looking for of 3.8in, but it will have the least effect on your speedo, my vote from those three would be the 275/35/18 for that reason but, in your case and if you don't mind taking the time to correct your speedo i would go with 275/40 which will give you a 4.7in sidewall (your stock tire is 4.3in) and only if you correct your speedo would I do it b/c otherwise you will have a speedo thats 6.7% to slow.
