Which spark plugs to use ?
I know this question has been ask before, but what is everybodys preference on spark plugs . I have found that my small town parts store carries Motorcraft, NGK, and Auto- lite . Is it better to stick with motorcraft in a basically stock 2002 GT? What have you guys had the best luck with?

I like NGK copper plugs, but if you want to stick with Ford stuff then use Motorcraft or Autolite (makes the Ford plugs).

if you want to spend the money the NGK's are better but the autolite 764 work just as good and are only like $1.64 a piece

somewhat... just make sure you blow out the are around the coil packs before removing them. you don't want to get any dirt, sand, or rocks down in the spark plug hole...

Any tips or special tools for this little challenge ? Will the coil packs come out without messing with the fuel rails?

There are special spark plug sockets with padding to prevent damage when installing.
You don't have to remove the fuel rails, just work the coil around it. |
