Need help on GT Axle

I got a GT axle from a 04. But the thing is it has a broken axle shaft.....since it came from a GT i figured you guys might know how to pull it out...

buy a new axle, new aftermarket axles, or go 31 spline axles and diff.

yeah i'm goin to but how do i get this one thats broke off out of there?

take off diff cover
take out cross pin
push axle in a litlle bit
remove c-clip
take screw driver/pry bar and push the axle out from the inside
that should give more than enough to grab a hold of it from the outside to pull it out.

the guy that i got the axle from said that one of my 7.5 axle shafts will fit in there...so im hoping to use that because i dont need 31 spline. the most i plan on doing to this car is a 4.2 twin turbo...and that will be years down the road so i dont think i will need 31 spline. While i'm in there im putting in 4.10 gears. Yes i know no one recommends doing it yourself..but i have a guy that has done alot of them before to help me out so i think i will be aight...
