Saleen supercharger?


Saleen supercharger, A guy that lives close to me is sellin one off his 01. I have a 2000 GT what are the pros and cons on it?

its boost, it will add power, not much cons to it. i think it is still a roots style but i may be wrong, i havent looked into the saleen s/c's that much, they may be a twin screw design.

Its a twin-screw type, I'm 99% sure. I haven't heard to many details about saleen superchargers though.

they arent very efficient...but that make make alright power...max out around 380-390 to the wheels.

Yea its the roots one, My motor has 100k but just got a compression check after i got it fixed and all 8 are running fine. Do you think i could damage the motor in anyway? and how much would an install and tune run me? thanks.

as long as you get everything you need from the guy, you should be able to install it yourself in a day, if that. a dyno tune, will cost you a couple hundred, more if you dont have a predator or xcal2, cause youll have to buy one to tune your car.
