COBRA TRANNY ON A GT? WILL IR FIT?

hey guys i am getting a new tranny on my 2002 gt and my friend has a cobra tranny i think its frim a 96...will it fit? or any cobra tranny will fit? thanks

not sure what tranny they used in that year cobra. You might need the tranny crossmember and drive shaft to get it to fit right.

Why would you want to? Your stock tranny is better then that...

I beileve he has the T-5 or it might be the T-45 I cant remember...You have a T3650...

i believe it's a t-45.. i think the t-5 stopped in the fox bodys.

and yes Chris is right... the t-3650 is a way better transmission

And like ChrisJ said, You have a better tranny stock then a 96 cobra.

-1 on the t-45.... id rather have a 3650 anyday.... just look around the aftermarket, no one supports the t45.... theres a reason for that
