throw out bearing already????

if im driving my car has a slight squeking not bad but if i put the clutch in just alittle it goes away? if i push it all the way in it also goes away.. when i sit the car in neutral i have a slight noise like a ticking thumping sound it isnt really bad but you cant hear it.. this isnt normal is it? i just got the clutch install about 500miles ago.. the guy told me not to drive it hard for around 100-200miles so i didnt for about 300mi and after i jumped on it a few times and shifted it hard i could smell the clutch alittle also my clutch chatter is almost gone.. is this normal for a spec stage 1???

i have had problems with 4 clutch kits (bearing) that wasent made by ford.

so i put in king cobra kit and havent had anything yet........................

3 first ones was changed within 10k miles.

done about 2k miles on this one i think

ticking thumping i dont know what that could be, maybe it is just your cable thats messed up somehow ?

I've been romping on my centerforce dual friction clutch (was installed before I got it) got the car at 18500 miles and now I'm at 37000 miles not one sound coming from my clutch.

Never heard of teh Mcleod. But most ppl with Spec I have talked to also say they are good but the pressure on the leg is just to much for a daily driver.

ive been using my spec stage 2 for over 6 months now... the leg pressures not that bad, (im 5'7", 160lbs) i use it as a daily driver and it only occasionally gets tiring (2-3x a week for a couple minutes) but some of my friends i let drive me home when i was drunk said it was pretty tough.

the shifts are fine and the clutch isnt stiff at all it feels the same as the factory clutch but if this clutch dont last atleat 15000 miles i'll never go back with a spec again but from everything thats going on with it i don't know if i will ever go with another one again anyway.. this shit cost to much to replace in 3000miles just for the install was 350 the clutch cost what 220 from AM..
