F**in tremec 3650

Im new to this site so shout me a holla im in the Milwaukee area and like to get a few cars together n cruzze!Just got my stang in march and im on my 2nd trans. Car has only 34000 got it with 30000. Just makes me mad.. thank god i got a warrenty! Anyone else had problems with these syncros going bad.

Welcome to MM! If your on your 2nd trans since March I betting its not all the transmissions fault.

t-56 w/ viper specs ftw! 3650 is garbage man... it's like women, somedays it acts nice and others it's stubborn as shit!

May just be me here, but I dont hear of T45s giving problems like I hear about the 3650. But what do I know?

Haha yeah, my 91 5.0 GT had the T5 transmission and all it did was grind into reverse if you didn't put it in a synchronized gear first or wait a few seconds... nothing like this shitty 3650

well now i do have problems with my t45 jumping out of reverse sometimes. but when i had t5s i never had any problems

3550 owns all... even the t56, tko 600, 500... They just aren't made like they used to be.

not sure what tranny is in my 98 GT but, I'd say it sucks too. Reverse grinds 90 percent of the time when puttin it in, and if you dont give 4th gear and extra half second after pushin the clutch in, it grinds and pops out of gear too.

I bought a used one 3.5 yrs ago to replace my wore out t-45 and it still works good. I also still run the stock shifter.

The input shaft bearing went out in mine.
