Questions for a buddy...
Hi all, my name is Chris and I own an 01 Lightning. I have a good friend in Texas that recently purchased a GT. He is looking to start modding it, but would like to stay under $3000 if possible. What are some good sites where he can purhcase parts for his GT.

id say start with full exhaust, gears, and a cia. that all should cost under 3000 and should give some decent numbers.

To start modding, my favorite things would have to include the exaust, cold air intake (as already mentioned above) and depending on the year and tranny type, new gears. The gears will give you one of the best get up and go's for a small amount of cash. If cash is the only thing holding him back, I suggest he check out classifieds and ebay to find stuff at a discount. Most of the time you can talk people down and shipping isn't that bad. It also helps if you have the tools and knowledge to do things yourself...
