New Tune/ p51 intake

So i just got my car fixed and tuned by HBH, Horsepower by hermann, this past weekend. Picked it up today. I have a bbk CAI, 75mm TB, p51 intake, UPR pullies, o/r x pipe, 40 series flowmaster muffs. And now an SCT xcal 2 tune. He was able to get me 267.82 hp and 306.04 torque. I'll put up the graph when i figure out how.

Nice #s... Did the tuner say how much he think you got from the p51 intake? Who makes those anyways. I remember reading or hearing something about them, but it's been a long time since then...

bad ass!

+1 i'm curious to know how much gains you picked up from the p51 and how much did it cost you, also why did you decide to swap intakes?

i think the intake is about 700 its made by foxlake racing. you have to use aftermarket fuel rails with it. im also curious about the results from that intake.

I'm not sure he got the best he could. I'm getting 261 at the wheels and 308 torque N/A and I don't have the P51 and UD pullies. I wonder if the tune could be better...

for $700-800 on an intake, I better get more than just 7. I got 16 hp after slapping the K&N CAI and 75mm TB/Plenum. Don't know how much each one, but that is the last thing I did to the car, after the full exhaust. With the tweaking on the dyno/tune, we ended at 261. It could have been 265-266, but I was really close to detonation thanks to the timing and gaping of the plugs (N2o)

That intake is worth about 0 HP with your mods. You need some heads and cams.

Seriously, get the cams and I know someone who can cut you a great deal on installation.

totally true. Could have spent the money on something like cams for much more power.

Anything you do to the car is an improvement. I guess now you have the intake to support better mods and make them work better. Good job.
