Fuel injector install questions?

First time replacing fuel injectors so I guess I need a little help so I don't blow my stang up. I am aware of the basic steps, like disconnecting the battery and releasing all of the fuel pressure in the system, but other than that, it is a crap shoot. Does anyone know of a place I can go to get a pdf file of something to help me out. Greatly appreciate it fellas.

Will

Its so simple! All you need to do is take the pressure off the system. undo the 4 bolts and the fuel rail with all the injectors should just come right out! Once its out you just replace the injectors so the connector part is facing the same way!

Disconnecting the fuel lines will make it slightly easier, but is not nesasarry. Reason being you will have enough play with fuel rails to get all the injectors replaced!

Hope this helps!

When I did my PI intake swap the easiest part was the fuel injectors! Oh and before you pull any connectors apart label where they go! This will save you in the long run!

Well yes! I mean up grading the injectors arnt going to gain you anything! until the stockers are maxed out! Also if you do not retune your comp to notice this change you will have major problems! What are you doing?

make sure you put a little lube on the o rings on the injector(2 of them) before you put them in. it will help with not letting the o ring roll off of it.

It will also help in the removal of them in the future. I just used a LITTLE vasaline. make sure you dont get in the injector, just on the o-ring.

oh and if you happen to break an o-ring or injector cap. O'rilliys sells them in a kit for around $2 each. it includes the plastic spacer, 2 orings, and the nipple. If you have to replace the nipple be carefull, they are fragile. soak them in some really HOT watter for 10 minutes and then pust them on. make sure they seat all the way down.

oh and your fuel rail bolts should be an 8mm if I remember correctly.
