spend your money elsewhere there isnt any point to having a tune without air and exhaust mods to tune

I agree I got the diablo predator and tune, came with the car when I bought it. Other than spending alot more on gas Id say dont bother besides it made the stang idle at over 1k rpm. Honestly since I switched the tune back to stock the car is actually more driveable, smoother, sounds better, and runs better all around. Although with the tuner I just barely touch the gas in neutral and the revs were very quick, easily doubled in speed over stock tune, one quick tap and its jumped to 3k instantly. Although the car had k&n cai & o/r h with flows, but now I got stock intake and mrt catted h on there so dont really know exactly if the diablo was mainly helping it. Oh and if you use the diablo tune be prepared to litterally watch your fuel guage move downward as you drive

Just my 2 cents…
01 GT – 5 Speed, BBK Cold Air Intake, 3.73 gears, Magnaflow Catbacks exhuast and a brand new Predator.

I have had the predator for just over two weeks now. My MPG has went up 2 miles per gallon on the highway. I was average 24 pre tune and post tune I am averaging 26! I am averaging 17 to 20 in the city depending on how heavy my foot is. I couldn’t be happier and there is diffently a difference in performace as well.

I have the predator as well. I would highly reccomend

1. Catback Exhaust Mid Pipe
2. CAI
3. Gear & Tuner
etc...

buy your bolt ons first. then go out and get a nice SCT tuner. SCT is very pickyu w/ their dealers as well, meaning your more likely to find someone who know what they r doing when it comes time to hop aboard the dyno.

i have an 00 that i bought and it had a K&N intake and the diablosport was first thing i got. idk why u said ur gas goes down, i think thats more the driving style than anything. i average 2 to 3 more miles per gallon, and my upper RPM power is WAY more than stock. didn't do much for my low end but after about 3300 rpm, you can feel the tune kick in alot more than stock. im not saying its the god mod or anything but i like it. also why did your car idle at 1000? the predator has an option to place your idle were you want. i have mine set at around 650, and have the traction control turned off. and if your worried about expensive gas, premium is 20 cents more a gallon then regular. around 14 gals gets me filled, so .20 times 14 = around 3 bucks mayb. not that much of a difference in the price for alot more fun

I would get an SCT, when your mods call for it. But I would buy a SCT from a dealer who has a chassis dyno and can tune the car to your mods and give you a safe tune. Don't go to just anyone. Go to SCT and find a dealer close to you.

I have both a Diablosport and a sct they are both great products and will do the same job. Bottom line is buy what the shop in your area uses to tune with. no need to buy something your local shop does not use.

SCT... if you go from a Predator to an x cal2 or 3 you will notice the difference. SCT is much better product and more support is available.
