Used XCal2?

One of my buddies has a used SCT XCal2 that he wants to sell me for $85. I'm pretty sure this is a good deal so i'm not going to ask that question but with my mods which are: Bassani x-pipe w/ magnaflow cat-back and a C&L Intake. I have a lot of suspension mods but I know that doesn't make a difference. My question is would it be worth it? And if it is how much am I looking to spend just for a custom tune?

Thanks in advance.

I can get you the tunes if you would like.
depending on what you want is what it will cost.

as for the xcal.. make sure that it isn't vin locked.

I know it isnt , one of my buddies has a SVT Focus that he totaled out , I was with him when he unlocked it.

What different kinds of tunes are there? And what would make the price differ?

there are package deals is what I meant.

I would look into a wide band 02 sensor set up personally.

that way you can data log with an a/f set up and you will get a better tune that way.

And that is just one tune? And by data logging you mean keeping track of everything like on a laptop? And how much would that cost me? And you have to excuse me I have never really had to deal with tunes before, my first car was a 91 notch.

Ok so would it be a good investment to make with the mods listed? Or should I invest in something else?

def.

with a tuner you can always re-tune for new mods.

a tuner is a great investment.

if you choose the custom tune from data logging it's $40.00 and 2 years of FREE retunes.
