eibach springs? Shocks needed too?
I want to lower the car a bit, for the sole purpose of better handling. I have looked at the Eibach spring kits for less than 250 for all four. They don't have much info on thier site, compared to Steeda, for example. Are the Eibach springs good? Is a shock upgrade needed as well? Is there a better option for a similar price? Keep in mind, this is a daily driver that I'd like to autocross every now and then. I'm not much on drag racing. I just like to blast down country roads on the weekends and hate that floaty feeling at 90 around curves. I know some larger wheels and better tires would be a good start but I love the wheels and the tires are extremely new. Ok, I'll quit rambling... Any good input guys?

you can't go wrong with steeda, they make great products. personally, i went with the eibach prokit, 1 1/2 inch drop. i'm real happy with the look of the car and the handling improved pretty dramatically over stock. i had already upgraded the struts and shocks before i put the eibachs on the car. i've heard some people say that you need to swap the dampers when you drop the car, and some people say you don't. i'd rather be safe and change them out, personally. my car's a dd, so i really can't afford to have the car up on jackstands while i'm trying to fix it cause i was to cheap or whatever to mod it right. just my $0.02
