ppl with a bullitt intake

Is there anyway to keep this thing cool? It heats up like no other and I wasn't sure if I was losing power because of how hot it gets. Also another question is how much power if any are you guys seeing with the swap. I put on Hooker longtubes and matching x replacing my stock manifolds and my bbk x and this intake and saw 13 hp to the wheels in my automatic. should i see more or am I where I should be? I went from 263 to 276 to the wheels.

The intake get hot to touch just from underhood temps thats what Aluminum does especially with that much exposed area. It isn't as hot inside as it is outside that's just the heat sink effect of the aluminum casting. I was half temped to open the Faux scoop up on the hood and make it functional in the way of underhood cooling. Direct air on the top of the intake manifold would help free some high end power up on freeway runs.

I already had an x-pipe so that might be some of the hp not seen as a gain but IDK and it was a n/a run. When I go to the track I will just ice it down i suppose.
