So I get my car back....

We'll as alot of you know the synchros in my tranny went out a few weeks ago. So I fight with the dealership and they finally agree to fix it and I take it in. We'll when I took it in there was a bad grinding into second gear. They fixed it the same day and I went and picked it up the next day and they fixed second but there was a grinding in fifth gear. So I take it back and they called me today (a week later) and tell me that my car is ready. I get it and get on the interstate and I hear a really bad whining in fifth gear, and then all of a sudden POP and I start losing speed and cant pick it back up. I pull to the side of the interstate and the whole time im moving I can just hear shit flying everywhere. I decide that I can not sit on the side of this busy interstate so I ride the e-lane all the way to the next exit and then as soon as I get off it completely locks up. So I call the dealership and they try to tell me that five different people drove the car and everything was fine and that I was going to have to pay for the tow. We'll by now im pissed and im telling the woman what I think of the five people who drove it and the guy who put it together. So they dispatch a wrecker service and to make my day go a whole hell of a lot better , the wrecker guy shows up and cracks my damn bumper and rips my damn chin spoiler off. So now I have to wait another week for them to patch it up again and then probably wait a month to get my new bumper. This is fucking rediculous.

I have been dealing with a ford rep the whole time. When I say dealership I mean the ford dealership , I havent spoke with the dealership that I bought the car from since I had the first problem.

holy shit man, thats horrible. Your a better person then me though, i would have killed the wrecker guy, then I would have driven his tow truck through the front window of the dealership that jacked your car in the first place . Anyways, sorry to hear about that man.

man I would've beat that tow truck guy's ass... I watch every little thing people do when they work on my car... Flat beds are better tow trucks than regular tow trucks man, they'll end up scraping your rear bumper down the road and your exhaust tips... lol... just watch the guys who put it on the flat beds... and as for the transmission that's fucking crazy man... I never heard of any shit like that!

Let's just say it wasnt anything nice but looking back there wasnt really anything he could do , he did have wood blocks but my car is just toooo low and as soon as he did it he assured me everything was going to get taken care of and he took pictures and wrote on the invoice that he ruined my bumper so i can really complain about how he handled it....

Yeah its pretty rediculous , like... its so bad that I cant even be mad about it. I just look on the bright side , I get a 3 year - 76000 mile warranty on a brand new tranny now. It just sucks that I have to wait like another week to get my car back. As for the bumper , the tow truck guy called me and said they had one in the paint shop now and will be on by the time they get done with the tranny. So everything is going to work out. The bad thing is that this is supposed to be one of the best service departments in the state.
