ummm... hmmm

ok, so im stuck with an AUTO cuz the wife cant drive a stick.. well, not THAT kind at least LOL

ran my car BONE STOCK last sunday with the exception of flows, and it was running a VERY shytty 15.1..

i know the full tank of gas deffinately slowed it down, as well as the fact its an auto, but seriously..

should it have been that slow?

I got so PEEVED that I ordered my intake today, O/R H being installed, and my predator should be in.. with all that done, and less than a 1/4 tank of gas, should it be down to the low 14s where it should be? or even mid to high 13s?

the tune should help with your auto shifting and you should at least be in the low 14's.. i'd say high 13's if you get traction.

trake? lol jk

with the listed mods i say mid to low 14s

it takes a pretty good driver to break 13s with a 5spd stock

Hey if I learned to drive a 5 speed in a 93 gt with a stage 2 racin clutch, tired after work, in an uncomfortable position in the car, and couldn't see what I was doin too well. Anyone can drive a stick.

Don't learn to drive on a stage 2 racin clutch.

Awesome car though.

Roller rockers, edelbroke upper intake manifold, underdrive pullies, no exhaust, short throw shifter, stage 2 racin clutch like I mentioned.

a chrome intake would heat up and force hot air into the motor where the stock one doesnt get as hot..

so when these people buy these intakes off ebay for 50 bucks, arent they LOSING hp?

no.

because yes.. it heats up fast... it also cools down fast.

the plastic intakes are the same thing... heat up slow... but stay hot for a while.

so logically, i COULD have spent 50 on an ebay intake? and just made sure to have ice with me at the track?? or wouldnt cooling down a metal pipe to fast cause it to warp?

explain to me why i spent like 300 for one? lol

wait... so... a chrome ebay intake would be better than a K&N? being that platic retains heat where the metal wont?

well the total was just over 300 for the intake and the tuner.. intake is new, tuner is used, but at only 120 for the tuner..

i think...

i dunno

my cousin is responsible for ordering all this.. i just pay for it

i told him his limit was 300 for a tuner (thinkin he would get a new one) and he finds one on another forum for 120 plus shipping, and says I also have an intake on the way..

i just drive and pay.. kinda like when im with the wife..

lol
