grille delete

So I put the mach one grille delete in (3 piece). The black piece that fits on top of the bumper has four prongs and actually sticks through the bumper. I can't find anything that will fit over the prongs and hold the piece tight against my bumper. I could probably use double sided tape, but would rather find a better way to do it. Anyone have any ideas? I tried to find some push nuts to fit it but cannot find the right size.... Sorry no pics right now.

3pc from american muscle does not need tape it clicks in, and shows absolutely no gaps, does not use the 4 holes.

simply just clicks in

I guess I'm a complete dumb ass because I tried the double sided tape and there was too much of a gap between the bottom piece and the top of the bumper, the tape couldn't touch both at once. Like I said I must be a dumb ass because I thought it would be soo simple haha.. Is there a certain spot to put the tape or do I need thicker tape?
