AFS Replica Wheels

OK Im cleaning out the garage this week before my vacation and among other things I found the two 17x10.5 polished 2003 Cobra REPLICA wheels that until the accident a year and a half ago I had on the front of my Mustang. The rims have 275/40/ZR17 HTRZ Sumitomo sport tires on them, one is fine but the other (on the side that was hit) came off the rim and damaged the lip. Regardless of how the wheel still looks fine and not out-of-round, Im not taking a chance on mounting another tire on it...the tire currently on it has a hole in the sidewall so thats the end of that one. NOW...What I planned on doing is putting them back on the car (this time in the rear, where they belonged in the first place) the problem is, when ordering this wheel with the tire on it HOW do I specify that I need this to go on the LEFT side of the car (cause these tires have those tire-rotation arrows...they cant go on both sides of the car.) sometimes these wheel replica dealers are handling SO many orders they tend to shit themselves regularly. Also, as far as the tarnishing of these wheels go, I know Im not supposed to use any chemicals on them but is there anything I can use on these machined-faced cut-out surfaces that can bring out a better shine? And as Ive been ending most questions here in the last week, will I need a wheel alignment after I put these on? Remember, they'll be 17x9 in the front and 10.5 in the back. Thanks.

Brain fart...the question I REALLY wanted to ask is IS it possible to repair a sidewall hole in a low profile tire, its about the size of a BB.

I don't think So.
Especially not a performance tire
They Can try to plug it but I don't think it's very safe from a blowout
We had a dog that liked to bite tires had to replace 5 truck tires......................................

no one will fix that for you. You can try and patch it yourself, but I don't recommend that, for what it's worth...

My first question. Why did you put a 10.5 wide rim on the front of your car?

next: The tires are directional yes, but if you take it to the other side of the car and turn it around, voila! Instant tread-in-the-other-directionability! If your at the mounting place and it looks like it's going to be facing the wrong dircetion on the rim, then turn it over.

And that's a big negative on repairing a hole in a side wall. I'm sure it can
be done, but then again you could just go racing with drag radials in the rain and end up with the same effect!
