If its an LT1, you should have him. But I thought in 96s they came with the LS1. Not for sure though!

Really? You guy think it will be that close? I walked on one the other night 3 times in a row. He was pissed! He even jumped early at one light and I ran him down quickly, yet I can't take a stock LS1. At least the other guy said he was stock.

i took a lt1 twice in a row with my current mods...he blamed it on forgetting to turn his traction control off twice in a row

I'm pretty sure he's not hiding anything... he's my best friend and his parents just went out and bought him that maro.... its actually really nice. I love the color on it, its like some kind of really dark almost blue, purple. Yeah but anyways, it only has LM1 catback so i think i'll wax his ass lol.

I don't know bro. You have no gears and no tune... According to the list up there. It might be close. You need to shift as fast as a masturbating monkey.

I think you will be able to take him , I smoked one at the track with headers intake exhaust and gears and he got a good jump on me and I still ran him down. With some decent driving you should take him. :award

yeah, i kno i could def handle it on a roll but a dig is what scares me... i think the stock gear ratio on his maro is 3.55 compared to my stock 3.23's. O well we'll see what happens... we're going to the track tonight and when i get home i'll tell u guys what happens.

i had a 1997 trans am before i bought the stang and they are really fast. From a stop it might have you because of all the torque in the back. From a roll you will give him a run for his money. As long as the camaro is not modded it should be close.
