What does the mach 1 shacker on a GT do, does it give a good amount of Hp was wondering if anyone has it dont because i am interested in getting it but i want to see if it is worth getting for 800 dollars

The hp gains will be minimum, save your money and get a nitrous kit or something else. In my opinion it is a waste of money to put a shaker on a gt....

I have one but it is non fuctional and is just there for the looks. It was on the car when I bought it but I like it and it is done very well.

Yup, you can basically get the same performance with a CAI. Its basically for looks.

if it is hooked up right it will help very little. Its the same as taking cold air from a fender well. Just use your stock air box and hook the little adapter in where the snorkle was.

I wouldnt mind having one with the 1" spacer to raise it a little. They are just too much for me.

Doubt you will see anything at the wheels. Maybe 5hp at the crank, but it is more of a cosmetic mod

Its good for higher speeds, like 80+mph

But not worth $800. I dont know what you have done to your car, but with $800 a Zex wet kit would be a much better option. Or even a midpipe/intake or gears would be a lot better.
