Header flange bolts

I think i found the exhaust leak I was looking for. Its where the header meets the x pipe(drivers side). There seem to be stops on the flange bolts. If i unscrew the bolts will the stops come off with ease? Because i think thats what is causing my x pipe to leak.

I have never seen "stops" there.

I had a leak there too but it was from the gasket. After I changed to the x-pipe I used the stock gasket again. Well the gasket has a raised area that also seals the exhuast on the inner part of the pipe and that had rotted away.

just un-bolted the two on the drive and passenger side , replace the gasket, and drive off once done.
