Aftermarket Gauge Sensors - Removal
I need to remove the sensors for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and aftermarket fuel pressure gauge. When I remove these, is oil and gasoline going to start spewing out at me? And if so what is the proper process for removing them?
Also, where would the sensor for a nitrous pressure gauge be located?

Nah, it wont spew. Some will come out.
Just take your wrench and when it gets close to the end, cover your hand and fitting with a rag so you dont get hit in the face. That works every time. No special bs needed.

So what do I need to cap it off permanently once I remove the sensors?

i believe different companies could use different sizes, but i think its a npt 1/8" fitting. so you would buy a 1/8" npt plug. thats what mine is.

Well the gauges are Autometer NV gauges. Any idea if those would be the 1/8"?

Any ideas on what local places I could pick up some of the 1/8" plugs? Seems at Autozone or Oreilly's you have to special order them
