03 Eaton SC on 01 GT?

Would it be possible to put a Eaton sc from an 03 Cobra on a 01 GT?

Thanks for any advice!

It would be more money and work to use the 03 Cobra Supercharger then just buy a supercharger for the 2v...

I would not recommend it...

Anytihng can be done, they are called "mod" motors for a reason. Everything can swap over, but it takes money.

I would just recommend a KB and boost it until it breaks

You'd have to swap over to DOHC heads....

I was blinded by the low price, glad I checked with you guys first. What about a Saleen series II, would I have to change the heads for that?

I think only the Extremes are DOHC but I could be wrong...But your usual S281 supercharger will bolt right up to a SOHC (they use the same exact engine)...

SALEEN DOES NOT use a DOHC set-up. Base Saleen is a 2v, they also have a SC281 with a Supercharger and then they have a fully built Saleen E, which is SC but more boost and a nice block. Its the cream of the crop for Saleen.

You can do a Saleen set-up on youre car..... but the series before the brand new 3v SC was pretty shitty for a S/C i guess. Im not saying dont buy it, but i havent heard good things. Mustang_Montana had one for his SAleen E motor he bought and decided to ditch it due to problems.

cheapest is not always the best, if you are going to spend the money you might as well get something that works really well, the saleen blower will not be worth your money in my opinion. If anything try to find a used Kenne Bell for the 2V.
