window wont rull up and its raining.

yesterday my window decided not to roll up. So I removed the door panel and used a 12volt source to bypass the switch and all that stuff. After finding that the switch wasent getting the right amount od power I decided to wait until today to find the reeal problem. After everything was back together the window functioned normally. This morning during some errands it worked fine. Today after getting to work the window was stuck down. I tried bypassing the switch with a piece of wire but no luck. I ended up using some aluminum paper and some masking tape to cover it while raining.

When I try to roll the window up it just makes a loud clicking sound like a solenoid kinda cluck. IT doesnt make that sound then i try to put it down or try the passender window. The passenger side works.

What it next. I tested voltage and I wasent getting the right amound during the problem. I think the next stepo would be to check the switch for a small malfunction. If the switch was bad then Y did it make a sound under the dash. If its not the switch then check the wiring for a short/brake in the wire... right? After that is the lock/window moduel.

sry got to go back to work. ill finish later.

Are you sure the clicking sound wasn't the window off the track or anything weird like that?

Are you sure it's not getting the right voltage? I would compare it to the driver's side voltage.

I just had the same problem and I posted on the svtperformance site. I pressed the switch in the up position with the power off, then while still pressing up on the switch I turn the power on and firmly closed the door. It actually worked

Good Luck
