Convertible --> Coupe

OK guys I've been searching this crap all day on google and can't find anything on it. Is it possible to convert my ragtop to a hardtop lol? I'm sure anything is possible nowadays but I was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of it being done or know the procedure. Thanks

Found this if anyone is interested.

http://smoothline.com/contemporary_m...rd_Mustang.php

Had to call for pricing. Basically they have two models. Standard & Deluxe.

Standard is just a Gray Molded Gelcoat finish that will probably need to be prepped/sanded and stuff before painting. Also has a Plastic Rear Window and parchment interior fabric.
Cost is $1199

Deluxe is Smooth Black Primer finish which is basically ready for the topcoat of paint. Has Tinted Rear Glass and black interior fabric.
Cost is $1999

I think I'm going to save for this....I've wanted to do this for a while.

yeah just add some more weight to the convertible body lol... What's the point of that? to save your top? or what I think your top might have problems if it just sits down forever in the heat all folded up... I don't have experience in that but it's just something I'd think about... What is the real reason you want to do that for is all I wanna know...

Man for the price of that thing I'd much rather have a roll bar, I've seen some pretty cool ones and they're only a quarter of the price of that top, and that top just looks weird... you can just tell that something isn't right with it... maybe it's just me... besides the roll bar will stiffen your car more and that's what you want to do.

I haven't had a problem running my convertible without a roll bar at the track...

Keep the vert and spend the $1100 on mods to add to the perfomance. That way you can pass coupes chillin with the top down.

Compared to $2000 you can buy a roll bar for like 400, rip out the seats and carpet yourself and just get it tig welded for like couple hundred... how much you think you'd spend?

I dunno about you but I'd rather spend 700 dollars for something that'll actually help me in an accident then 2000 dollars for just looks...
